Savage Wines Chenin Blanc Never Been Asked To Dance 2024

Description
The Savage Wines 2024 Cape Town Syrah The Girl Next Door shows a young, bright profile with lifted iris, rose petal and fresh earth tones thanks to maritime influences. The style leans toward a transparent, delicate expression reminiscent of a Côte-Rôtie, with barely-there tannins and a subtle emergence of dried meat savoriness on the finish. Fermented with 50% whole-cluster fruit and aged for 10 months in foudre, this wine reflects the cooling influence around Cape Town that helps preserve Syrah’s natural lift and aromatic precision. Production is 2,872 bottles. Wine Advocate 95
