Description
A dark, almost primordial style of Pomerol, the 2005 Providence has notes of new saddle leather, licorice, truffle, loamy soil, forest floor and earth, with plenty of rich blackcurrant and black cherry fruit behind all of these nuances. It is a big, masculine, full-bodied, intense Pomerol to cellar for another 4-5 years, and drink over the following two decades. Wine Advocate 93+
