With the advice of international enologist Alberto Antonini, the hills were planted with a complex network of vineyards that produce wines with a strong identity, expressing the inimitable character and features of the Garzon terroir. Bodega Garzon wines have received over 125 international awards in just five years, including more than 40 distinctions in 2016. Their juicy, spicy Tannat was recognized as the best of its type in the world in 2013 and 2016, followed by a gold medal at the international wine challenge in 2017, firmly establishing it as an icon of Uruguay’s emblematic grape.This is very layered and intense with a fantastic texture and depth. A rare export from Georgia – a light single-varietal red! Destemmed and macerated in stainless steel for a week, where the fermentation also finished. Rested in-bottle for another year before release. Crunchy tannins, bright, fresh red berry notes and a beautifully refreshing acidity.
